Here we GROW again…
Hillsboro, MO, March 1, 2019– JEFFCO Public Sewer District makes big strides towards betterment of county sewer and water services.
Since the first of the year JEFFCO PSD has their sights on improving the Jefferson County sewer situation. The district, originally formed in 2000, slowly added customers in Raintree Plantation and small developments in unincorporated Jefferson County until 2013 when they successfully petitioned the circuit court to reorganize under the Chapter 204 of the Revised Statues of the State of Missouri. Last year the District added over 1,000 customers with the addition of 5 systems in Cedar Hill that were privately owned by PCB Inc. and the City of Byrnes Mill’s wastewater treatment system. The District also continued its regionalization goal by extending sewers in the Bear Creek area. This extension connected the aging Bear Creek wastewater facility to one of our newest and modern treatment.
